With an all volunteer staff, NOAH NY is run on an incredibly tight budget. All of the money raised from fundraising directly supports our operational costs, including medical missions. However, we could not carry out our work without donations from individuals that we receive from time to time.

In 2007, NOAH NY completed a medical mission to Haiti that was a resounding success. We provided basic medical care and treated ailments such as malnutrition, diabetes, and gastroenterological diseases. We treated various infections that are often dismissed as minor in the United States, but without proper attention are fatal to many Haitians.

In 2008, fifty-three volunteers provided care to 4,000 Haitians, and in June 2009, thirty-eight volunteers provided care to over 9,000 Haitians. While we are proud of what we have accomplished, we have only barely begun to scratch the surface.

NOAH NY Medical Missions are designed to provide free medical care to as many people in as many different communities as possible. In order to fulfill our goal we depend on monetary donations as well as supply donations. If you would like to make a financial contribution, any amount is welcome. Five U.S. dollars is enough to feed a family in Haiti for one week. Supply donations could include medicine, medical equipment, toys, clothing, etc.

Your tax deductible financial contribution will be used for:

• Medical supplies and equipment
• Medication and vaccines
• Physician tutorials for Haitian doctors on how to deliver basic and advanced care
• Systems to provide households with clean water
• Tutorials to prevent malnutrition
